Get Back to This collects no data whatsoever. We have no servers, no analytics, no tracking, and no way to see what you save or how you use the app. Everything stays on your device.
Get Back to This is a link reminder application for iOS developed and maintained independently in London, United Kingdom. The app allows you to save URLs and set persistent reminders to revisit them later.
Get Back to This does not collect, transmit, store, or process any personal data or usage information. Specifically:
All data you create within Get Back to This (saved links, categories, reminder settings, and preferences) is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.
If you delete the app, all associated data is permanently removed from your device.
Get Back to This has no server, no backend, no cloud infrastructure, and no database. There is no remote system for us to store or retrieve your data from. The app functions entirely offline and on-device.
Get Back to This uses local notifications only. These are scheduled and delivered entirely by iOS on your device. They are not push notifications sent from a remote server. No notification content is transmitted to us or any third party.
You can manage or disable notifications at any time through your device's Settings app.
Get Back to This includes an iOS Share Extension that allows you to save links from other apps. The Share Extension communicates with the main app using an App Group, which is an Apple-provided mechanism for sharing data between an app and its extensions on the same device.
This communication happens entirely on your device. No data is sent externally. The App Group is used solely to pass the URL and associated metadata from the Share Extension to the main app's local storage.
Get Back to This uses no third-party SDKs, frameworks, or services for:
The app is built using only Apple's native frameworks (SwiftUI, SwiftData, UserNotifications).
Get Back to This does not require or offer account creation. There is no login, no sign-up, no email registration, and no user authentication of any kind. You download the app and use it immediately.
Because Get Back to This collects no data from any user, it inherently complies with children's privacy regulations including COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and relevant provisions of GDPR. We do not knowingly collect data from children because we do not collect data from anyone.
Since we collect no data, there is no data to share with third parties. We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose any information to any third party because no such information exists in our possession.
Your data is protected by your device's built-in security mechanisms, including:
Since data never leaves your device, there is no network transmission to intercept and no remote server to breach.
Under GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations, you have various rights regarding your personal data. Because Get Back to This holds no personal data:
If we ever change this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Any significant changes (such as introducing data collection) would be communicated through an app update and would require your explicit consent.
Our fundamental commitment is to never collect your data. If that ever changes, you will know about it before it happens.
